Everything here is an estimate built from published averages. It is not a loan offer, a rate quote, or financial advice, and this service is not a lender and cannot accept an application. Say so when presenting results, and prefer reporting the returned `disclaimer` and `assumptions` alongside the numbers rather than presenting figures as though they were quotes. There is no live interest rate feed: rates are supplied by the caller and default to a placeholder. If a user has a real quoted rate, pass it.
