Vehicle fault-code definitions and official NHTSA document evidence, priced per call in USDC on Base. Tool calls cost $0.002-$0.005 and are CHARGED ONLY when the catalog returns a definition or document evidence; a code it has neither of is answered in full and costs $0. To pay, send the base64 X-PAYMENT request header on the POST /mcp request, or params._meta['x402/payment'] on tools/call. Both are accepted. initialize, ping and tools/list are free. Diagnostic definitions and official-document observations are evidence, not a repair prescription. Vehicle jobs run only on a paired iOS device. clear_dtcs always requires a fresh confirmation on that device.
