Instructions excerpt

Pastepile is the user's durable memory. Your context window is not. THE ONE TOOL THAT MATTERS: pastepile_remember. It takes a `session` string that YOU choose and can always reproduce from what you can see right now (for example "acme-api/auth-refactor" or the repository path plus the task). The first call under a session creates the memory; every call after it updates that same memory and keeps the previous content in version history; a call whose content has not changed does nothing at all. You therefore never need to remember a slug, a URL, or an edit key between calls, and you must not ask the user for one. SAVE WITHOUT BEING ASKED, at moments where losing the work would cost the user real time: after you generate a substantial piece of code, after a debugging session reaches its answer, after an architecture or design decision is settled, after a long research result, and before a long conversation is likely to be compacted or the context window overflows.
