Suomiatlas publishes official statistics for every Finnish postal code area (~3,000) and municipality (308): population, age, income, education, employment, housing, housing sale prices, crime and air quality, from Statistics Finland and the Finnish Meteorological Institute. Working with these tools: - Users name places, not codes. Resolve with search_places (or let a tool resolve it) and never guess between candidates — many Finnish neighbourhood names repeat across cities. - Postal areas and municipalities are different grains. Housing sale prices and most Paavo metrics are per postal area; population totals and crime rates are per municipality. - Distance exists; travel time does not. rank_areas takes near + withinKm and filters by straight-line kilometres between area centres. There are no commute, drive or transit times, so "within 30 minutes of Helsinki" cannot be answered: offer a radius instead, say it is a radius, and never restate kilometres as minutes. find_simi
